Last day on the road circuit at the World Roller Games in Nanjing. Today was the turn of the Junior categories to race the 1 Lap event. After the qualifications earlier in the day, the night has seen some really good racing from the young guns. In the Junior Ladies two Italians, Anais Pedroni and Giorgia Bormida, throw a masterful sprint winning the event followed by Colombia Kerstink Sarmiento in 3rd position. 4th skater in the final was Yen Yu-Ting, Chinese Taipei.

The race in the Junior Men was really balanced but the French Valentin Thiebault had a best final sprint winning in front of the Colombian Steven Villegas and the Italian Enrico Rossetto. 4th the other French present in the final Flavien Foucher.

After the awards of the 1 lap race, the classic closing event of the road circuit championship is the relay race. A Team race really felt by the skaters and coaches as a glue of the friendship in the National Teams. Even more important this year since it’s going to be the last road relay event at a World Championships same as the 300mt on the track.

In the Junior Ladies the race was really fast and the winner was decided only in the last lap where the Colombia team took the lead, controlling the whole lap and sprinting first to the line. 2nd place for Italy and 3rd for Ecuador.

The Junior Boys skated quite of a show when Colombia team tried to escape from the other teams but in the tricky moment of the relay, France , Italy, Chinese Taipei, Korea and Netherlands were all there. The best sprint was for France who took the win followed by Italy and 3rd for Chinese Taipei.

Also in the Senior Ladies only the last lap counted. Thanks to the spectacular last straight from Francesca Lollobrigida, Italy from the 4th position reached the finish line in first place with a difference of 0.01 in front of Germany and 0.05 in front of the Colombia Team.

Senior Men was a different story. The Colombia team prepared the sprint from – 3 laps skating as fast as they can, winning big letting behind Germany and Italy.
